01 · The service

Jotway is the product and trading brand of an individual developer. Contact the operator at liugq5713@gmail.com for support or questions about these terms.

Core capture, editing and saving your original text are free. Jotway AI is an optional hosted service for automatic titles and grouping, thinking prompts, deep insights, and weekly or monthly reviews. Features marked as development previews may differ from the current public download. Check the installation guide and release details before downloading.

02 · Planned subscriptions and points

At launch, Jotway AI is planned at USD 4.99 per month or USD 49 per year. Both include 500 AI points per month. Annual subscriptions are charged yearly, with points issued monthly, rather than all at once.

The planned free experience includes a one-time grant of 30 AI points without a payment card. It does not create a paid subscription. See the pricing page for the point cost of each feature. These allowances describe the beta offer; point billing and trial activation are not yet active.

When purchasing becomes available, the checkout will show the currency, applicable taxes, final total and renewal interval before you pay. A paid subscription renews automatically at the selected monthly or annual interval until canceled. Changes to pricing or service terms will be disclosed before they apply.

03 · Payments, cancellation and refunds

We plan to use Paddle as our authorized reseller and merchant of record for paid subscriptions. For purchases made through Paddle, Paddle handles payment collection, billing and applicable transaction taxes, and its buyer terms also apply. Jotway supplies the app and AI service.

You may cancel renewal through the subscription-management link provided with your purchase or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal charges; access continues until the end of the paid period unless the payment is refunded.

We offer a full refund when requested within 14 days of an initial subscription purchase or renewal. Read our refund policy for how to request one. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights.

04 · Your content and AI output

You retain ownership of the content you provide. Only submit content you are entitled to use. When you choose an AI feature, the relevant text and context are processed to provide that feature, as explained in our privacy policy.

AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review generated titles, grouping, insights and reviews before relying on them. AI output is not professional medical, legal or financial advice. Keep backups of important work.

05 · Responsible use and availability

Do not use Jotway for unlawful activity, infringe others' rights, misuse another person's credentials, or interfere with the service. Access may be restricted to address abuse or security threats. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

AI features depend on network availability and third-party services and may experience interruptions. If a paid feature is unavailable or does not work as described, contact us for help and the remedies available under our refund policy and applicable law.
